This Sesame Ginger Dressing is creamy and full of flavor. Fresh ginger and toasted sesame oil create a medley that will have your taste buds dancing.
I love salads. I’m not talking about some wimpy bowl with lettuce and tomatoes. I’m talking about organic greens, roasted veggies, seeds and nuts, chicken, sausage, and a delicious dressing to tie it all together. My dressings used to always be store bought. Blue cheese dressing was my jam! When I made the change to Paleo, I would just mix together apple cider vinegar, avocado oil, salt, and pepper because I didn’t have any dressing options that I knew of. Every dressing either had canola oil or sugar in it:(
Then I discovered companies like Primal Kitchen and fell in love with their Ranch and Caesar dressings. Unfortunately, since I live in Hawaii, our prices are significantly higher than the prices I would see food bloggers posting. It started to get quite costly for me. So I figured I’d start creating recipes that had some structure to them instead of just vinegar and oil. Sesame Ginger Dressing was my first go.
Ginger has always been one of my favorite flavors. Pairing it with toasted sesame oil takes my salads to another level. Just throw all the ingredients in a bowl and whisk away. Serve up on your favorite salad or, if you’re dip obsessed like me, dip your chicken strips in it. You’re taste buds will thank you!
