This Tropical Ginger Smoothie is perfect for those warm afternoons. It is incredibly refreshing and the ginger is extremely beneficial for digestion and inflammation.
Even though I live in Hawaii and it’s warm all year, whenever summer is around the corner my smoothie game kicks in. I love a good berry smoothie and the occasional chocolate shake but I was wanting something different. My autoimmune issues come with a lot of inflammation so I’m always looking at ways to battle that. Que light bulb over head…and bingo! Ginger! Throw in a bunch of bright colored fruit and you get my Tropical Ginger Smoothie that is sure to cool you off this summer.

- ¾ cup frozen pinapple
- ¾ cup frozen mango
- 1 frozen banana
- 1 cup nut milk
- ½-1 inch piece of ginger, grated*
- Throw all ingredients into your blender and blend until thick and creamy.
