Yes I said zucchini:) If you are anything like my best friend, you screamed out, “That’s disgusting!” But not to worry because zucchini is so mild in flavor that you don’t even know there’s anything but fruit in this smoothie. Steamed then frozen zucchini adds so much creaminess and thickness to a smoothie.
I tested out this recipe on my father and if you read my Acai Bowl post you’ll remember he is a smoothie snob:) He has very high standards when it comes to smoothies so if a smoothie passes his taste test then I know it’s a keeper. Of course I didn’t tell him there was half a zucchini in there because that would have effected his smoothie review. But he loved it!
The protein I use in my smoothies is Organifi. It is by far the best vanilla protein I’ve ever tasted and I haven’t bought anything else since I tried it.
This smoothie is so incredibly creamy thanks to frozen bananas and zucchini. Sneaking some veggies into your diet has never been so easy, or so delicious!
Real Food. Real Vibes.
